About the Role

Our client is looking for a vibrant and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join their property management team in Derby . This role is pivotal in attracting prospective tenants, showcasing available properties, and guiding them through the leasing process. You will be the first point of contact for potential residents, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, understanding their needs, and matching them with suitable properties. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high occupancy rates and contributing to the positive reputation of properties within the Derby area.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to all rental inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Conduct engaging and informative property tours for prospective tenants.
• Assist prospective tenants with the completion of rental applications and gather necessary documentation.
• Qualify applicants based on established screening criteria and company policies.
• Effectively communicate property features, benefits, and community amenities.
• Follow up with prospective tenants to secure leasing commitments and facilitate move-ins.

Requirements

• Previous experience in leasing , sales, or customer service, preferably in property management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and basic computer applications.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
• Understanding of the Derby rental market is a plus.
