About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Legal Advisor specializing in Employment Law to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role focuses on providing expert legal guidance on a wide array of employment-related matters, supporting the HR department and management. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with employment legislation, managing employee relations issues, and advising on contracts of employment and policies. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining office-based work with the flexibility of remote working, ideal for fostering proactive engagement and efficient case management.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on all aspects of employment law, including dismissals, grievances, discrimination, and TUPE regulations.
• Draft and review employment contracts, service agreements, and HR policies.
• Represent the company in employment tribunals and other dispute resolution forums.
• Conduct internal investigations into employee complaints and disciplinary matters.
• Provide training and guidance to HR personnel and line managers on employment law best practices.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with significant experience (4+ years) in employment law .
• Proven experience advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and provide practical advice.
• Experience in managing employment tribunal claims is essential.
