Our client in Birmingham is looking to recruit a dedicated Legal Counsel specializing in corporate law to support their expanding operations. Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions , and corporate finance transactions.
• Draft and review legal documents, including shareholder agreements, board resolutions, and compliance policies .
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters, liaising with external counsel as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK company law and regulatory requirements.
• Support business development activities by providing legal input on new ventures and partnerships.

Requirements

• A qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law .
• Experience gained either in private practice or in-house, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of company law, securities regulations , and corporate compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to provide pragmatic and commercially sound legal advice.
