About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on software licensing agreements, SaaS contracts, and technology procurement.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Provide legal support for product development, cybersecurity, and data breach response.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements relevant to the tech industry.
• Liaise with external counsel on specialized legal matters as needed.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with a current UK practicing certificate.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in technology law, IP, and data privacy.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex technology contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection laws.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property law and its application in the tech sector.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice.
