About the Role
Our client is seeking a vibrant and organized Leisure & Events Coordinator to manage and enhance their diverse range of recreational activities and events in Norwich . This role involves planning, organizing, and executing successful leisure programs and special events, working collaboratively with various teams. You will play a key part in creating engaging experiences for the community, contributing to both the leisure offerings and the overall operational success of the organization in a hybrid capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver a calendar of leisure activities, workshops, and community events.
- Manage event logistics, including venue booking, catering, entertainment, and promotional activities.
- Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
- Develop marketing materials and promotional campaigns to drive participation and awareness of leisure activities and events.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery of services.
- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in event planning, coordination, or leisure programming.
- Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
- Experience in marketing and promoting events or leisure activities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a hybrid work arrangement.
