About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and organized Leisure & Sports Program Coordinator to manage and develop a diverse range of recreational activities and programs in Nottingham . This hybrid role requires strategic planning and administrative oversight from a remote setting, combined with on-site presence for program delivery, event management, and community engagement. You will be instrumental in creating accessible and engaging opportunities for residents to participate in sports and leisure, contributing to the overall health and well-being of the community and enhancing our client's offerings in the Leisure & Sports sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and coordinate a comprehensive schedule of leisure and sports programs for all age groups.
• Liaise with instructors, coaches, and facility providers to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Manage program budgets, including expenditure tracking and financial reporting.
• Promote programs through various channels, including digital media, community outreach, and partnerships.
• Oversee registration processes, participant records, and feedback mechanisms.
• Organize and execute special events, tournaments, and community sports days.

Requirements

• Proven experience in program coordination, preferably within the Leisure & Sports sector.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with budgeting and financial administration.
• Proficiency in using relevant software for scheduling, communication, and record-keeping.
