About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Leisure Centre Operations Manager to oversee their flagship facility in Stoke-on-Trent . This senior role requires a leader with a passion for community fitness and recreation, responsible for the day-to-day management, strategic development, and financial performance of the centre. You will manage a diverse team, ensure exceptional member experiences, and maintain high standards across all facilities and services, playing a key part in promoting health and well-being within Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of the leisure centre, including facility maintenance, staffing, and service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase membership, program participation, and revenue streams.
• Lead, recruit, train, and manage a team of centre staff, including fitness instructors, lifeguards, and administrative personnel.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and licensing regulations, conducting regular risk assessments.
• Oversee the centre's budget, financial planning, and performance reporting to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leisure centre management or a similar operational leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the leisure and fitness industry, including marketing and sales strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
