Leisure Centre Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the leisure centre, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, train, and support a team of leisure assistants and front-of-house staff.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and emergency procedures across the facility.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Manage facility bookings, memberships, and cash handling processes.
• Monitor the cleanliness and maintenance of all areas and equipment within the centre.
• Assist in the implementation of marketing and promotional activities for the centre.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the leisure or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a public facility setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in using booking systems and basic IT applications.
• First Aid at Work certification is required.
