About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Lettings Negotiator to join their dynamic team in Cardiff . This role involves managing the entire process of letting properties, from attracting potential tenants to securing successful tenancies. You will be responsible for showcasing properties, conducting viewings, referencing tenants, and ensuring all legal documentation is correctly handled. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for the property industry. This is a remote-first position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to manage your own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively market properties to prospective tenants via phone, email, and online portals.
• Arrange and conduct property viewings, highlighting key features and local amenities.
• Screen potential tenants, including conducting thorough background and credit checks.
• Negotiate terms between landlords and tenants to reach mutually agreeable tenancy agreements.
• Prepare and manage all tenancy documentation, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, addressing queries promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Lettings Negotiator or Real Estate sales role.
• Demonstrable understanding of the lettings process and relevant legal requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with the Cardiff lettings market is advantageous.
