Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily deliveries of parcels to residential and business addresses within the Portsmouth area.
• Operate a company delivery van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times and efficiency.
• Load and unload parcels carefully, ensuring they are handled appropriately.
• Obtain necessary proof of delivery and manage delivery documentation accurately.
• Maintain positive communication with customers and the internal dispatch team.

Requirements

• A clean and valid UK driving license.
• Prior experience in a delivery driver role is advantageous.
• Good geographical knowledge of Portsmouth and its surrounding environs.
• Ability to handle parcels of varying sizes and weights.
• A strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
• Excellent customer service skills.
