About the Role

Our client is seeking a friendly and dependable Local Delivery Driver to join their team in Bradford on a part-time basis. This role focuses on delivering parcels and goods to customers within the local area, ensuring a positive experience and timely service. You will be the face of the company for many customers, representing their commitment to reliability and customer care within the Driving & Transport sector. The successful candidate will have excellent navigation skills and a proactive attitude towards completing assigned routes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver packages and items to residential and commercial addresses within the local area.
• Operate a company van or car safely and responsibly.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and confirm proof of delivery.
• Follow optimal routes to ensure timely completion of deliveries.
• Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally during delivery.
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies immediately.

Requirements

• A clean and valid UK driving license.
• Prior experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
• Good geographical knowledge of Bradford and surrounding districts.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
• Must be physically fit to handle deliveries of various sizes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
