Locum Family solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Locum Family Solicitor to join a well-established law firm to provide temporary support to its busy Family Law team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable solicitor with experience managing a varied family law caseload and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters.

• Advising clients on divorce and separation.

• Handling financial remedy proceedings and property settlements.

• Advising on child arrangements and child-related disputes.

• Preparing court applications, statements and legal documentation.

• Conducting negotiations and liaising with clients, counsel and other professionals.

• Representing clients at hearings where appropriate.

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales.

• Previous experience working within a Family Law department.

• Ability to manage a caseload independently.

• Strong knowledge of private family law.

• Excellent communication, client care and organisational skills.

• Available to undertake locum work at short notice
