This role is central to ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods, coordinating with drivers, managing schedules, and optimising delivery routes. You will work closely with the transport team to resolve operational challenges and maintain high service levels. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily routes for delivery drivers, ensuring optimal efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with drivers regarding assignments, route changes, and potential issues.
• Monitor driver performance and adherence to schedules and company policies.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments to coordinate deliveries and resolve logistical queries.
• Maintain accurate records of driver activities, delivery status, and operational data.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a logistics or transport coordination role is essential.
• Understanding of driver regulations, Working Time Directive, and route planning.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using transport management systems and related software.
• Familiarity with the Oxford area and surrounding regions is an advantage.
