Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Coventry . In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing shipment schedules, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer demands. You will act as a key point of contact for carriers, suppliers, and internal teams, facilitating smooth communication and problem-solving to maintain operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation.
• Track shipments in real-time and proactively address any delays or issues that may arise.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to manage transportation needs.
• Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and proof of delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and update the company’s transportation management system (TMS).
• Assist in resolving delivery discrepancies, customer inquiries, and operational challenges related to logistics.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination role.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing remote and office-based tasks in Coventry .
