About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and efficient Logistics Coordinator to manage and streamline their supply chain operations. This fully remote position is vital for ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods within the FMCG industry . You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, and optimizing transportation routes to meet delivery targets. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage complex logistics challenges from a remote setting, leveraging technology and communication skills to maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound transportation activities, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Liaise with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse personnel to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to stakeholders on delivery status.
• Manage shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize transportation costs and improve logistics efficiency.
• Resolve any logistical issues or discrepancies that may arise during transit.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar supply chain role, preferably within the FMCG sector .
• Strong understanding of logistics, transportation modes, and international shipping procedures.
• Proficiency with logistics software and tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with carriers and internal teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
