About the Role
Our client is looking for an organized and efficient Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of goods and materials for their manufacturing operations in Bristol . This hybrid role involves coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory, and liaising with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. You will play a crucial role in maintaining supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments of raw materials and finished goods.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.
- Liaise with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange transportation.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding logistics matters.
Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations .
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures and transportation management.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing tasks both on-site and remotely.
