About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Logistics Operations Specialist to join their remote team, supporting their logistics network. This role involves overseeing and optimizing various aspects of the supply chain, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials. You will play a key part in coordinating with carriers, managing documentation, and resolving operational challenges. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of logistics processes, comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment and contributing to seamless supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Act as a primary point of contact for carriers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding logistical matters.
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Monitor shipment progress, identify potential delays, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and service levels.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all logistics activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
• Solid understanding of transportation modes, shipping documentation , and international trade regulations.
• Proficiency in logistics software and standard office productivity tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for a remote work environment.
