Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, drivers, and dispatchers to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy and adherence to inventory management protocols.
• Manage daily dispatch schedules, optimizing routes and ensuring timely deliveries across the Birmingham region and beyond.
• Conduct regular team meetings, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to staff.
• Maintain operational records, including delivery logs, inventory counts, and driver performance metrics.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures within the warehouse and loading areas.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a logistics, warehousing, or transportation supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and dispatch software .
• Good understanding of UK road network and delivery logistics principles.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
