Our client is seeking a versatile Logistics Operative & Van Driver to contribute to their operations in Cardiff . This dual role involves both warehouse duties and customer deliveries, requiring a flexible and proactive individual. You will be instrumental in managing stock, preparing orders, and ensuring efficient delivery throughout South Wales. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of physical work and customer interaction, taking ownership of their tasks and supporting the smooth running of the local branch in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and dispatch goods according to established procedures.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for delivery.
• Operate a company van to deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform basic warehouse maintenance and ensure a clean and organized working environment.
• Conduct vehicle checks and maintain delivery logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocktakes as required.

Requirements

• A valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Cardiff area and surrounding regions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong sense of responsibility.
