About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and physically fit Logistics Operative to join their team at their distribution centre in Sheffield . This role is essential for the efficient handling of goods, ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and dispatching orders. You will contribute to the smooth flow of operations by maintaining organised workspaces and adhering strictly to safety protocols, playing a vital part in meeting customer demands with efficiency and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to established procedures.
• Receive and check incoming goods, ensuring correct quantities and quality.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and systematically.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse, including work areas and stock locations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and hand-held scanners.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar operational role is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail for accurate order processing and inventory handling.
