About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and physically fit Logistics Operative to join their team in Plymouth . This role is integral to the efficient functioning of the logistics department, involving the handling of goods, managing stock, and assisting with dispatch operations. You will work as part of a dynamic team, contributing to the smooth flow of products through the warehouse and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders efficiently according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent stock management and cycle counting.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet trucks and forklifts (certification and training provided where necessary).
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
