About the Role

Our client is seeking hardworking and dedicated Logistics Operatives to join their busy distribution centre in Plymouth . This role involves a variety of essential warehouse duties, including the efficient and safe handling of goods, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments for dispatch. You will be an integral part of the logistics team, ensuring that operations run smoothly and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role requiring physical fitness and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, and store incoming goods according to established procedures.
• Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanning devices and order lists.
• Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring goods are protected during transit.
• Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labelling and documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse workspace and assist with general tidiness.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is an advantage.
• Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
