About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Logistics Operative to join their busy warehouse team in Nottingham . This role involves a range of essential warehouse duties, from receiving and processing incoming stock and materials to picking and filling orders, packing and staging them for dispatch. You will play a crucial part in the efficient operation of the distribution centre, ensuring that goods are handled with care and accuracy. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and committed to contributing to a productive and safe warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process incoming stock and materials.
• Pick and fill orders accurately and efficiently from warehouse stock.
• Pack and stage goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in stocktaking activities.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if licensed and trained).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
