About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a forward-thinking Logistics Planner to join their established operations, with this role being fully remote. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and optimization of our transportation and distribution networks, ensuring that goods are moved efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time. This position requires a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, excellent analytical capabilities, and the ability to leverage technology to create efficient logistical frameworks. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize transportation routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to manage the flow of goods.
• Plan and coordinate the movement of goods, including international shipments if applicable.
• Utilize logistics planning software and tools to forecast demand and manage resources effectively.
• Monitor shipment performance and address any deviations from the plan proactively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics planning, transportation management, or supply chain analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with carriers and internal teams.
