M&E Engineer – Liverpool Street

Location: Liverpool Street, EC1 Salary: £46,000–£48,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am–4pm / 8am–5pm Call-out: 1 in 4 – £100 standby per week Employment: Permanent

Are you an experienced M&E Engineer looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role in a prestigious commercial environment?

We’re currently recruiting for an M&E Engineer with a slight electrical bias to join an established facilities team working on a high-profile financial services site in Liverpool Street.

You’ll be joining a team of around 4–5 engineers, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the tenant side of the building.

The Role

As an M&E Engineer, your duties will include:

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

*

Reactive maintenance and fault finding

*

Electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis

*

General mechanical maintenance

*

Lighting and emergency lighting

*

HVAC and building services

*

Pumps, motors, AHUs and FCUs

*

Basic plumbing and general M&E duties

*

Responding to breakdowns and defects

*

Completing maintenance records and relevant paperwork

*

Working closely with the engineering team and client

About You

We’re looking for an experienced M&E Engineer with a slight electrical bias and a strong commercial facilities background.

Ideally, you will have:

Relevant Level 3 engineering qualification

*

18th Edition electrical qualification

*

Previous commercial FM / building services experience

*

Strong electrical fault-finding skills

*

Good mechanical maintenance knowledge

*

Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance

*

Good communication and client-facing skills

*

A professional and reliable approach
