About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer to join their thriving technology team in Brighton . This role is critical for bridging the gap between machine learning model development and reliable production deployment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes that enable efficient, scalable, and repeatable ML model deployment and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software engineering and machine learning, with a passion for automation and operational excellence in the AI domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models.
- Implement and manage infrastructure for training, deploying, and monitoring ML models.
- Automate ML workflows, including data validation, model training, and evaluation.
- Develop tools and frameworks to support MLOps best practices.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to ensure seamless model integration.
- Monitor production ML systems for performance, reliability, and potential issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps, with a focus on MLOps.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and MLOps tools.
- Strong understanding of automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code in Brighton .
