Location: Team Valley, Gateshead

Job Type: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks

Shift Pattern: Rotating days and nights

• Days: 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday

• Nights: 6pm–6am, Monday to Thursday

The Role

We are looking for reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join a busy manufacturing team in Team Valley, Gateshead. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, offering long-term opportunities for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate glue machines, ensuring all products meet quality specifications.

• Assemble products either independently or as part of a production line.

• Carry out regular quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.

• Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and quality documentation.

• Complete production paperwork and written records accurately.

• Support other production activities as required, including assembly, packing, labelling, cleaning and maintaining a tidy work area during quieter periods.

What We're Looking For

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work a rotating 3-shift pattern.

• Able to undertake manual handling tasks, including bending and standing for extended periods.
