Machine Shop Nights

Do you have a passion for Engineering? Have you worked with CNC machines in a workshop environment? My client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking a CNC Machine Shop Operative to join their manufacturing team. As a CNC Machine Shop Operative, you will work with a team producing precision-engineered components to exact specifications and strict quality standards using CNC turning, CNC Milling, manual turning, manual milling and drilling processes. As a CNC Machine Shop Operative, you will:

• Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of components and products
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerances
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times The successful CNC Machine Shop Operative will have:
• Experience of using CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
