Machine Operator

Location: Wolverhampton Pay Rate: £15.25 per hour Shift Pattern: Friday – Sunday | 6:00am – 6:00pm Hours Paid: 36 hours per week Contract: 12-Week Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekend work, competitive pay and long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating machinery, including punch presses, bending tools and manual equipment

• Cutting materials to size using saws

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Completing measurements and basic calculations accurately

• Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch

• Supporting general warehouse and labouring duties

• Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting where required

Requirements

• Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• Good attention to detail and strong practical skills

• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role

• FLT licence or experience would be a bonus but is not essential
