Maintenance and Fabric Operative Location: South East London | Salary: £40,000 + 10% bonus | Hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Join a Leading Estate Team! Are you a hands-on maintenance pro looking for a stable role with great pay and benefits? An award-winning property company is seeking a motivated Maintenance & Fabric Operative to keep a busy estate of 250+ apartments in top shape.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct routine inspections and repairs on doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and floors

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies

• Use your skills with wood, metal, plastic, and DIY to keep the property looking great

• Carry out painting, decorating, and safety checks

• Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used

• Work with contractors and offer ideas to improve efficiency

Are You the Right Fit?

• Experience as a handyman or maintenance operative

• Knowledge of safety regulations (COSHH, working at height, risk assessments)

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or similar)

• Good communication and team player attitude
