Position: Maintenance Assistant

Salary: £37,000 + Overtime (£1,000–£2,000 on top) + Pension

Location: Coalville

Shifts: 4's and 5's days and nights

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity for a strong Maintenance Assistant. This is a dream role for any engineer, working in a state‑of‑the‑art fully automated fast‑paced factory. The site has recently been invested in and offers a great place to work for a Maintenance Assistant who wants to develop their career both technically and/or into management.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Requirements

• Multi‑skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to modify PLC programmes as a minimum.
• Hands‑on experience with pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast‑paced industrial factory.
• Electrical and mechanical fault‑finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLCs, ideally being able to fault‑find using inputs and outputs.
