Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Lutterworth (Magna Park, Distribution Centre). Monday to Friday 8 hour day shifts. 2 weeks of Mornings, 1 week of afternoons. Salary: £47,000 p/a. Benefits: 33 Days Holiday, 13% Pension, x1.5 Overtime, Sick pay.

The Opportunity Auxtronic is representing a well-established engineering services provider that manages long-term maintenance contracts across the Midlands. This role is based at a large, modern distribution centre.

The Role

You’ll join a small team of electrical technicians responsible for maintaining the whole site, from the automated conveyor and sortation systems through to facilities and building services. The work is roughly 70% planned maintenance and 30% reactive fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Regular PPM and breakdown cover for a Mid-size conveyor used for both totes and master cartons (Vanderlande system)
• Weekly testing of site sprinkler system
• Site wide lighting
• General upkeep and repairs on site plumbing
• Basic level control and fault finding of fire alarm system
• Adhoc project/installation work
• Bay Doors / Dock levellers
• General building maintenance

Entry Requirements

5 years experience as a Maintenance Engineer (Electrically biased preferable).

Distribution Centre experience would be advantageous, transferable industry knowledge is considered.

City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 qualified in Electrical Maintenance or Installation.
