Maintenance Engineer Location: Evesham, Worcestershire Salary: Up to £50,000 + benefits Type: Permanent, Full-time
The Opportunity Block MB is working with an established manufacturing business near Evesham to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team.
This is a hands-on role keeping production equipment safe, reliable and running efficiently, in a supportive team with genuine long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance in line with the site schedule.
- Fault-find across production machinery and equipment.
- Support equipment improvements, upgrades and new installations.
- Keep accurate maintenance records.
- Work closely with production colleagues to improve equipment performance.
- Follow safe working practices at all times.
About You
- A recognised engineering qualification, such as an apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, reliable and safety-focused approach.
- PLC experience would be an advantage.
