Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a team of multi-skilled maintenance technicians. Set the standard for safe working across all maintenance activity. Coordinate planned and reactive work with operations and engineering teams. Lead breakdown recovery efforts to restore plant operations. Apply root cause analysis, FMEA, and RCM to reduce repeat failures. Improve equipment uptime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair). Resource and deliver shutdown and turnaround work. Manage contractors and monitor their performance on site. Support capital and asset improvement projects. Maintain statutory inspections, workshop, and maintenance documentation.

Requirements

HNC or above in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Significant maintenance and reliability experience in a large process or manufacturing environment; chemical manufacturing preferred. Proven people leadership in a maintenance or engineering setting. Hands-on knowledge of rotating and static equipment in a hazardous process environment. Strong working knowledge of DSEAR, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, pressure systems, and permit-to-work. Understanding of process safety, including MOC (Management of Change) and mechanical integrity. Experience with CMMS and ERP systems. NEBOSH General, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or project management experience preferred
