About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of all production machinery and equipment. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency, contributing directly to the company's production output. This position requires a proactive individual with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, dedicated to maintaining a safe and functional plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment and machinery according to established schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production equipment promptly.
• Install, test, and commission new machinery and equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent.
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and reporting any hazards immediately.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility's general infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems .
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
