Management Accountant (Part-Qualified)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their team in Sheffield . This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in management accounting, contributing to financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with the senior finance team, supporting them in delivering timely and accurate financial information critical for business operations. This hybrid role provides the flexibility to work from both the office and home, fostering a dynamic and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal entries and accruals.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, gathering and consolidating financial data.
• Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
• Process purchase ledger invoices and assist with payment runs.
• Contribute to financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis as required.

Requirements

• Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant with a strong desire to qualify.
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is essential.
• Good understanding of management accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
