About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary on financial performance.
• Develop and manage the annual budget and periodic forecasts, collaborating with department heads.
• Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for profit enhancement.
• Oversee the preparation of management information reports and present findings to senior leadership.
• Improve and maintain internal financial controls and reporting processes.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the business.

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) with substantial management accounting experience.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems or financial planning software.
• Strong understanding of business operations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly.
