Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated Management Accountant to contribute to their financial strategy and reporting from Manchester . This role is instrumental in providing key financial insights that drive business decisions. You will be responsible for developing financial models, analyzing performance, and reporting on key metrics to senior management. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, providing insightful commentary.
• Develop and maintain financial models for business planning and strategic initiatives.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process across various departments.
• Implement and improve financial controls and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Present financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven track record in management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Strong experience with financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with financial software systems and ERPs.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting .
