About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary on financial performance.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Support operational departments by providing financial insights and performance metrics.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial models for new business initiatives and investments.
Requirements
- Part-qualified or newly qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Proven experience in management accounting , financial analysis, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with non-finance stakeholders.
