Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Accountant to join their finance team in Oxford . This role is crucial for providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and management reporting within a traditional office setting . Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Develop and maintain the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
• Assist in the preparation of financial models and business cases for new initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for management reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or holding a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
• Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and accounting software.
