Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team in Oxford . You will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business by preparing management accounts, analyzing financial performance, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow analysis.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insights and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and performance tracking.
• Process financial transactions, including journals, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support senior management with financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis as required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems within a hybrid working model.

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in management accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and work collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
