Management Accountant

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their finance team on a fully remote basis. This integral role will focus on providing insightful financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and preparing management reports that drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with various departments to understand financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, providing proactive insights.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary financial information and explanations.
• Streamline and improve financial reporting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a Management Accountant role or similar financial analysis position.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including advanced functions and financial modelling.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, adaptable to a remote environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines effectively, and collaborate proactively with remote teams.
