Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join their finance team in Oxford . This role is integral to supporting the business's financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. You will be responsible for preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights into business performance, and collaborating with various departments. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of robust financial processes and controls.
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

Requirements

• Part-qualified or newly qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and budgeting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
