About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Management Accountant to join their fully remote finance department. This role is crucial for providing key financial insights and supporting operational decision-making across various business units. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, helping to drive profitability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts, working closely with department heads.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of financial systems and reporting tools.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required by the business needs.
Requirements
- Part-qualified or qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of management accounting principles, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning software (e.g., SAP BPC, Oracle Hyperion).
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
