Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Coventry . This role is integral to providing insightful financial information and analysis to support business decision-making across various departments. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and contributing to strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage departmental budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Part-qualified or fully qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and management accounting techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with financial reporting software.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
