Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is searching for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance department, operating with a fully remote work arrangement. This role is instrumental in providing insightful financial analysis and management information to guide business strategy and performance. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on operational performance, ensuring that management has the data needed to make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts, tracking performance against targets.
• Prepare detailed management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement management reporting packs for various stakeholders.
• Improve financial processes and systems to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
• Provide financial support and insights to operational and departmental managers.

Requirements

• Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in a management accounting role, preferably with financial modelling expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, suitable for a remote role.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload effectively from home.
