About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Management Accountant to join their finance team on a fully remote basis. This role is integral to providing accurate financial information and analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, as well as driving improvements in financial processes. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads.
- Assist in forecasting financial performance and providing insights into key business drivers.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate depreciation calculations.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by senior management.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data within the accounting system.
Requirements
- Part-qualified or qualified Management Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a management accounting role, with strong financial reporting skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
