About the Role

Our client is seeking a specialist Management Consultant with deep expertise in the Financial Services sector for their office in Wolverhampton . You will advise leading financial institutions on strategy, regulation, operational efficiency, and digital transformation. This client-facing role requires a thorough understanding of the financial services landscape, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends. The position is office-based, fostering strong client relationships and in-person team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic advice and practical solutions to clients within the banking, insurance, and asset management sectors.
Analyse financial services operations, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
Develop strategies to address regulatory changes, such as compliance and risk management frameworks.
Lead projects focused on digital transformation, customer experience enhancement, and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
Contribute to the firm's thought leadership and business development efforts in financial services.

Requirements

5+ years of experience within the financial services industry or consulting for financial services firms.
In-depth knowledge of financial markets, products, and regulatory environments (e.g., MiFID II, Basel III).
Proven experience in strategy development, operational improvement, or digital transformation projects.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to build credibility and rapport with senior client executives.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
