Management Consultant - Operations

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Management Consultant with a specialization in Operations to join their team based in Stoke-on-Trent . This role focuses on optimising business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving performance improvements for clients across various sectors. You will work on-site with clients to understand their operational challenges and implement practical, effective solutions. This position requires strong analytical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with client teams to achieve tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse current operational procedures and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track operational effectiveness.
• Lead client workshops to facilitate process mapping and solution design.
• Manage the implementation of operational changes, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Provide training and support to client staff on new operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or operational consulting.
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimisation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical mindset.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities for on-site client work.
• Ability to travel to client locations as required.
