About the Role
Our client, a leader in innovative manufacturing solutions, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
- Design, implement, and validate new production processes and equipment.
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, and production staff, to ensure seamless integration of process changes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on process performance, identifying trends and opportunities for optimisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in CAD software for process design and layout is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with automation technologies and process simulation tools is a plus.
